Lecture-Discussion Model
What I like about this model: It can easily be planned. It does encourage some student feedback and participation, although not as much as the other models. This model can be used to teach those lessons that aren't quite as important as others.
What I don't like about this model: Again, this model is extremely boring if not implemented correctly. All of the models require enthusiasm and energy on the teacher's part, but this model requires it even more so. There could definitely be a lack of engagement, participation, and motivation with this model.
How I can see myself utilizing this model: Similar to Direct Instruction model, I hope I don't rely on this model a whole lot. I want my classroom and lessons to be fun and exciting for my students. I don't want them to have to simply listen to me lecture all the time.
