Integrative Model
What I like about this model: This model seems to bring in a lot of higher order thinking that other models do not necessarily require. Students are required to think outside of the box. Also, this model allows the students to sort of create the knowledge on their own rather than simply being told the information. This model allows for flexibility.
What I don't like about this model: This model is a little confusing. Although I have read the phases several times, I still don't have a great grasp of understanding on what this model is all about. I would like to see an actual Integrative model implemented in an actual classroom.
How I can see myself utilizing this model: When an organized body of knowledge is the perfect topic for critical thinking skills, I could bring in this model to help students with those skills plus higher order thinking skills. This model is great for helping make content relevant to students' lives.
